Integrative Psychotherapist (Transpersonal) specialising in working with addictions and the core emotional, relational, spiritual and social dimensions. Focussing on the roots of addictions themselves alongside explorations of presenting issues such as compulsive, self esteem, anxiety, depression and existential issues.

Navneet (Nav) has trained for 5 years in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy from CCPE in London. Nav also has a MSc in Addictions from Kings College, London. Therapeutically fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, he is sensitive to diversity issues, including but not limited to economic, societal, ethnic, gender and privilege.

Nav combines professional training with experiential learning. Healing from childhood traumas and in recovery from multiple personal addictions for 22 years, Nav offers empathic, relational and dynamic therapeutic interventions.

Nav currently works as an Addictions Psychotherapist for the NHS Practitioner Health Programme supporting the health of health professionals as well as in private practice at Addictions Recovery UK. He has worked in various capacities; from senior therapist and programme manager in a reputed British residential rehabilitation centre to drug and alcohol practitioner in a prison. He has also been a CQC registered manager in a reputed residential rehabilitation centre in the Midlands, and worked as an honorary psychotherapist in the CCPE Alcohol Liaison Service at the NHS Royal Free Hospital, London. Navneet’s experience also includes establishing and running the recovery programme of a premium residential rehabilitation centre in India.

Nav’s experience also involved establishing and running his family restaurants in India. He is also a partner in a zero waste shop, with his wife, here in England. This business is an extension of Nav’s personal interest in eco-psychology and holistic therapies.

Navneet is registered member of United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), an Advanced Practitioner Member of Addiction Professionals- Registration Body and Network (AP-APM) and adheres to their standard of conduct and ethics as well as being a Registered Member of British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). Navneet is also a member of The Society for Study of Addiction (SSA).
